Total interactions: +54.9%

Likes growth: +29.8%

IJOA at a Glance: +450% [169–1102%]

Matched controls: +90% [36–277%]

Consistency and timing

10 of 11 featured articles showed marked increase in downloads

Temporal peaks: 1–3 months after post dates (Mar–Jun 2025)

 

DISCUSSION & CONCLUSION

• Social media promotion was associated with increased engagement and article downloads in this observational analysis
• Causality cannot be established
• Findings support the potential role of structured social media strategies in enhancing the reach of obstetric anesthesiology research
