EXCEPTIONALLY RARE CASE OF SYNCHRONOUS SIGMOID AND CECAL VOLVULUS - A SURGICAL EMERGENCY
There are only eleven case reports published in medical literature since 1980. This case report highlights the diagnostic challenge and the importance of preoperative diagnosis and timely surgical management of synchronous sigmoid and cecal volvulus to prevent bowel ischemia and perforation.
