This randomized controlled clinical trial demonstrated that erythritol air-polishing achieved clinical,and microbiological outcomes comparable to conventional ultrasonic debridement in the treatment of peri-implant mucositis over 6 months, with significant improvements in inflammatory parameters, minimal patient discomfort, supporting its use as an effective and minimally abrasive alternative for supportive peri-implant therapy.
