Do Inflammatory Cytokine Levels Correspond to Symptom Distress and Quality of Life in Patients with Overactive bladder?

The study of inflammatory urinary cytokines as potential urinary biomarkers in the clinical assessment in patients with overactive bladder (OAB) has gained recent interest.  OAB is diagnosed based on symptoms; therefore, identifying cytokines that correlate with symptoms and quality of life is essential for establishing a clinically useful biomarker.

Objective: To identify correlations between inflammatory urinary cytokines and chemokines with symptom distress and quality of life in patients with OAB
