Treatment options for primary trigeminal neuralgia (TN) must be adapted for the specific patient.

The potential for gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) to be repeated multiple times compared with Percutaneous retrogasserian is a dilemma. 

Objective: To Prospectively investigate the efficacy of Gamma Knife radiosurgery vs  balloon compression in TN in subjects with previous Radiosurgical treatment.
