Audit of Fluid Management in Critical Care Patients

Friday, 25 May, 2012 - 11:05
Board 2

However, excessive fluid administration is associated with multiple complications, the most recognised being pulmonary and systemic oedema. For this reason, patients' fluid needs must be individualised and closely monitored for changes during their admission.
